After a nine month dry spell the most important competition in the world finally came back last night to a packed Arena at the Alamo Drafthouse. Austin, Tx is not only the homebase for the Air Sex World Championships, it’s currently the only city that hosts preliminaries - a series of competitions where the Top Three finishers earn a spot in the Championship Round (We’re currently negotiating with other cities to establish a preliminary format).

Last night’s highlights included a pair of successful Audience Walk-Ups (Ashley Pounder and Secret Admirer), the Austin debut of Bellingham Washington Champion Flann McMichael O’Malley the Irish Sex Bomb and the first-ever Mother/Daughter tandem in Sister Melon.

Secret Admirer shocked the audience by winning the judges over sans preparation and earning a spot in the Austin Finals. Joining him are Air Sex mainstays Bjorn to Fuck and Slut Truffle who finished 2nd and 1st respectively. Video and photos coming soon and we’ll see you again August 18th!
